Our theme for the ‘23-’24 year is “Decus in Labore” which translates to “Honor in Work.” This summer, Mr. James and Miss Day visited the Levraria Lello book store in Porto, Portugal which inspired author JK Rowling in how she designed parts of her Harry Potter world. The ceiling of the book store contains the beautiful stained glass design shown here with the motto inscribed. Throughout the year, we will discuss the importance of doing work to the best of our ability and how this is a reflection of our character. We will also talk about ways that we can honor our parents, friends, mentors, and ourselves.
